Thursday Thirteen # 6

My DH is a huge movie quoter.  He is constantly quoting movies to me and I am constantly saying, “huh?”.  So here are some of his favorites movies/quotes.   I think many of these quotes are ones that you will recognize. 

1) The Matrix - Oh how DH loves this movie! I don’t see the attraction!  Ok,  I admit it, I have watched it and gotten into it a few times once , but do NOT tell him that.  The fight scenes are cool, but DH quotes Morpheus from time to time.  There are way too many to list…so here is just one

“ There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.” 

2) A Few Good Men - I have to throw this one in just because of our location. “You can’t handle the truth!”

3) Full Metal Jacket - ”Me love you long time”  That is the first thing I think of when I think of that movie.     

4) Saturday Night Fever - Tony - “Fuck the future!”

                                                  Tony’s Boss - No, Tony! You can’t fuck the future. The future fucks you! It catches up with you and it fucks you if you ain’t prepared for it!

5) Predator -  Remember this Arnold quote from the movie? “Come on… Come on! Do it! Do it! Come on. Come on! Kill me! I’m here! Kill me! I’m here! Kill me! Come on! Kill me! I’m here! Come on! Do it now! Kill me! “  Gotta love Arnold…yea right

6)  Urban Cowboy - “Let’s go to Gilley’s.  It’ll make us feel better!” 

7) The Godfather - “I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse.”

Dirty Harry - “You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?”

9) Scarface - “Say “hello” to my little friend!” 

10) Aliens - “Game over, man. Game over!”

11) Better Off Dead - “I want my two dollars!”

12)Not a quote that DH uses…lol  But it is a memorable one

Deliverance - “I bet you can squeal like a pig.”

13) Ok, so DH isn’t a fan of this movie, but it is a quote that I find funny

Dirty Dancing - “Nobody puts Baby in the corner”
