Wordless Wednesday
I left the boys’ pool full of water overnight last week. I should have known better. We have too many critters here that like water like that. We found one of poisonous toads swimming around in it. These toads secrete some sort of toxin out of their back when they are in danger (like when they are in a dog’s mouth!).

I know I’m weird, but this is COOL! OH~and with three boys, they will turn their finger into their “shooter” if it’s all they can find~even with if never exposed to anything that shoots! LOL! There’s ALWAYS a rumble in my house! ~smile~

He was cute at first but then looking at his back is giving me the heebeejeebees now. Great photography though.My son loves frogs and would get a kick out of it.

My dog has actually had one of these toads in her mouth and she had an awful time with the foam! I had to get the hose out and everything… you would think that she had learned a lesson here, but she has had about 5 of these toads in her mouth since then. Thank God she is cute, because she is dumb
